Youth Pastor Page  

Hi! My name is Dan Averill,

I am the current youth pastor at Beverly Reformed Church. I came here in September of 1994 from St. Anne, IL. Being a youth pastor is the best  job in the world. It's the only one that allows  you and even requires you  to go to ball games, concerts, and exotic trips all over the world.

It also has it's downside. Things like teen pregnancy, suicide, Satanism, visiting the dieing, dealing with  angry  and frustrated parents. These are the things the youth pastor loses sleep over.

But on the upside: sledding, roller-skating, laser tag, Trips to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Vicksburg Mississippi, Washington D.C., Anneville, Kentucky. Graduations, weddings, new babies. Watching kids grow and mature into fine adults. Seeing people accept Jesus Chirst as their Savior and Lord.  What more could any one ask for?
