Ghosts, polterguists and the paranormal

I cannot personally say whether ghosts are real. I struggle theologically with the concept of ghosts being the spirits of dead people. I tend to believe that ghosts or spirits would be either angels or fallen angels that frequent a place. Jesus CHirst assured his followers that he was not a ghost thus supporting the belief in the existence of ghosts. What they really are is anyones guess.
