The term occult means hidden or to be kept secret. The devil and those who seek after him would like to keep all occult knowledge secret or hidden. They dangle this knowledge as a carrot for the unsuspecting mule that would happen to fall into their grasp.

Jesus is called the good shepherd because he laid down his life for his sheep, you and me. Don't become a goat and go after the way of evil or hidden things when all knowledge and truth is open and freely found in the Bible.
